Regina King

Regina King is an Academy Award–winning actress, director, and producer whose decades-long career began with 227 and includes standout roles in Boyz N the Hood, Jerry Maguire and Ray. She won an Oscar for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk and is a four-time Primetime Emmy Award winner for her work in the television series’ American Crime, Seven Seconds and Watchmen. As a director, she’s helmed episodes of This Is Us, Scandal, and Insecure, and made history with her feature debut One Night in Miami at the Venice Film Festival, earning a Golden Globe nomination. She went on to star in Netflix’s The Harder They Fall and Shirley as Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, and directed/produced A Man in Full with David E. Kelley and Forever with Mara Brock Akil. Most recently, Regina can be seen starring in Darren Aronofsky’s Caught Stealing opposite Austin Butler and upcoming, she will star in Paramount’s Children of Blood and Bone, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood.
In 2025, King launched MianU, an orange wine label honoring her late son Ian and celebrating connection. Crafted with Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay grapes from Mendocino County, MianU showcases a signature amber hue with rich stone fruit complexity and a fresh, bright character.
