As a self taught cook, Callie’s learning process often involved her extensive culinary library, as well as traveling to different countries to fully immerse herself in their cuisines and culture. For many years, she used this knowledge to cater Charleston’s best parties, recognized for her personalized approach to both food and presentation. Now retired, Callie splits her time between Charleston and the Hudson Valley, New York. Her children have made her very proud, and she’s excited to watch their lives unfold and grow from the sidelines. So far it’s been a wildly successful ride!
