Jeff Gordinier
During the past decade and a half Jeff Gordinier has covered the world of food — primarily as a reporter for The New York Times and later as the food & drinks editor of Esquire magazine. Over the years he has also contributed to publications such as Food & Wine, Entertainment Weekly, Fast Company, Town & Country, Travel + Leisure, Real Simple, and Air Mail. A graduate of Princeton University, Gordinier is the author, most recently, of the 2019 book Hungry: Eating, Road-Tripping, and Risking It All with the Greatest Chef in the World, a portrait of chef RenĂ© Redzepi of Noma in Copenhagen. He has appeared in the Jeong Kwan episode of the Netflix series Chef’s Table — an episode that won a James Beard Foundation award in 2018 — and in Phil Rosenthal’s Netflix series Somebody Feed Phil. He lives in Los Angeles.
