Matt Ray is an educator for Buffalo Trace Distillery and most recently won Whiskey Magazine’s award for World’s Best Brand Ambassador for American Whiskey. Matt has worked in hospitality for most of his life, from dive bars to Disney. He left the industry to teach English and history in New Orleans but returned to hospitality with his education experience in tow. Originally from Alabama, he uses his Appalachia accent to make spirits & cocktails fun and approachable for the average person.
