Ivy Odom

Ivy Odom is the Senior Lifestyle Editor at Southern Living, where she hosts and produces cooking and lifestyle videos for television and social media platforms. Ivy gained extensive experience in recipe testing and development during her time in the Southern Living Test Kitchens, and continues sharing recipes and stories in her print column, Ivy’s Kitchen. She appears regularly on the TODAY Show and Good Morning America, and represents the brand at cooking and lifestyle demos across the American South. Her debut cookbook, My Southern Kitchen (October 2025), is a spirited guide to cooking and entertaining like a Southerner. Outside of work, Ivy loves to travel, scope out new restaurants, work in her garden, and tackle as many home improvement projects as her schedule allows. She lives in Homewood, Alabama with her husband, Luis, their daughter, Janie, and their dog, Basil.
